David J Weissberg: Bio

Based in Echo Park, California, David J Weissberg is best known for his talents as an art director, writer and illustrator. A recent short list of clients would include Anthem Magazine, Nike, Black Sabbath, Shepard Fairey/Obey, Sleazenation, The Rapture and XLR8R, where he served as Creative Director / Arts, Style and Culture editor for 3 years. His passion for the arts began in junior high designing flyers for Southern California punk bands and creating collage work from discarded Elle magazines. David got his start in design at 21 when was plucked from art school to work for Peter Gabriel on his pioneering multimedia project Xplora 1. Today his creative fervor is fueled by British music, Dutch design and Japanese tailoring.
