Jared Eberhardt

Jared Eberhardt grew up in Salt Lake City skateboarding, snowboarding and listening to anything on Dischord. After realizing he wasn’t going to be a professional skateboarder, he turned toward photography and design as a way to keep in touch with his friends and satisfy his love for skateboarding and snowboarding.

Since then he has worked as a Design Director at Jager DiPaola Kemp and Creative Director at Burton Snowboards, where he created an estimated 1000 snowboards, directed and shot a hundred or so ad campaigns, videos and catalogs in a dozen different countries.

Three years ago he decided to focus on the parts of all of various experiences that he enjoyed and began a career as a full-time independent filmmaker and photographer. Last year he signed with Partizan Pictures as a commercial director and has already shot dozens of commercial productions with them. This keeps him busy but has also allowed him the freedom to explore his love for film making and photography.

He has an ever growing body of photography work for various clients and friends including Vice Magazine, Burton Snowboards, Nike, Vans, Fader Magazine, Sub Pop Records, Iamsound Records, Puma, Anti Records, Longman & Eagle Bar & Restaurant & Scion. He currently lives in Los Angeles and in the Fall of 2011 he signed with McDermott Management for exclusive photographic representation.
